TBM Business Directory – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 5 May 2026
Welcome to the TBM Business Directory (“Directory”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your subscription and use of the Directory as a business member (“Member”). By subscribing, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Us

The Directory and the Charity are separate and independent legal entities.
2. Membership & Pricing
2.1 Founding Members (First 1,000 Members)
- £60 + VAT per month
- Fixed for as long as membership remains active and in good standing
2.2 Standard Membership
- £120 + VAT per month
2.3 Payment Terms
- Monthly in advance
- Non-refundable except where required by law
2.4 Payment Method
- Processed via Stripe subscription billing
- Automatic recurring payments authorised
- You must keep payment details up to date
3. Charity Contribution Model
3.1 Contribution Structure
The Directory currently allocates 50% of its net revenue (excluding VAT and payment processing fees) towards charitable giving. This allocation:
- reflects the Directory’s current operating model and intention
- does not create a legally binding obligation to any Member or third party
3.2 Contribution Timing
- Contributions are calculated from month 3 of a membership
- Months 1–2 are used for onboarding and operational costs
3.3 Nature of Contributions
- Contributions are made by the Directory, not by Members
- Contributions are pooled and not attributable to individual Members
- No Member has any claim, right, or entitlement to funds
3.4 Relationship with the Charity
- Contributions may be donated to the Charity at the Directory’s discretion
- All donations are subject to the Charity’s independent governance and decision-making processes
- The Directory does not control or direct how funds are ultimately used
4. Important Information About Contributions
- Contributions are not held on trust for Members
- No fiduciary relationship is created
- Funds may be retained before donation
- No guarantee is given regarding:
- timing of donations
- specific causes supported
- outcomes of funded projects
Marketing references to charitable giving do not constitute a donation made by or on behalf of a Member.
5. Member Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and lawful information
- Keep listings up to date
- Comply with applicable laws
We may edit, suspend, or remove listings where necessary.
6. Cancellation & Payments
- You may cancel at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- Failed payments may result in suspension or termination
7. Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee business results. We are not liable for:
- loss of profits
- indirect or consequential loss
Nothing excludes liability where unlawful under UK law.
8. Intellectual Property
You grant a licence to use your content for Directory operation and promotion.
9. Data Protection
We comply with UK data protection laws.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms form the entire agreement.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

England and Wales.
